The company’s technology, which has been installed on more than 40 district heat networks since 2013, enables pay-as-you-go utilities and allows energy scheme operators to effectively monitor and ensure the efficiencies of their heat networks.
The 36 finalists across four sectors – Energy Generation, Green Buildings & Infrastructure, Working with Water, Energy Efficiency & Storage – competed for a cash prize of €20,000 provided by Climate-KIC.
Now in its third year, Cleantech Innovate showcases companies that will underpin Britain’s future green economy. Finalists are drawn from a variety of organisations, including university spin-outs, corporate R&D departments and individual entrepreneurs, and are chosen to present on the basis that their innovation is both investable and scalable.
The 2015 London event featured addresses from Amber Rudd MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Climate Change, and Henrik Olsen, Founder of the Environmental Technologies Fund.
The event took place in London at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers on Thursday, February 12.
